    Fertility & Pre-conception
This is the time when you want to ensure your base level of health is as good as it can be. We can offer help in many areas including physical fitness, nutrition, relaxation, regulating the menstrual cycle and male fertility.

Pregnancy

We can offer treatment in all 3 trimesters to help with side effects such as nausea, pelvic pain, water retention, digestive problems and low energy. We also offer support through emotional changes and help you prepare for labour physically and mentally.

Post-natal

New mothers need nurturing too. We can help you recover physically and mentally after birth, with treatments that aim to normalise hormones, promote milk flow, encourage healing, release trauma and help avoid post-natal depression.

Acupuncture aims to regulate the menstrual cycle and to promote the circulation of blood to resolve features of ‘unexplained infertility’ such as: Irregular cycle, poor endometrial build-up, painful clotted periods and abdominal bloating.  Research has shown acupuncture to be effective in promoting the live birth percentage with IVF.

Pregnancy:
Useful for many aspects of ill health during pregnancy including morning sickness.

Pre-birth:
acupuncture has been demonstrated to shorten labour. Acupuncture is also commonly used to help to promote labour in cases where it is delayed. Post-natal
Women often neglect their own needs following birth. Acupuncture can offer valuable support at an emotional and physical level during this highly demanding time.
