At Belsize Health we consider ourselves to be a community health centre and as such we aim to give as many people access to complementary care as possible. Since complementary medicine is not routinely available on the NHS we have a selection of therapies available to those on low incomes who would not otherwise be able to afford any treatment
There are no strict criteria as we rely on people's honesty about their situation. As a guide it can apply to those who are entitled to any state benefits or tax credits, full-time students and those who have low wages.
Please click on a link on the left for more information about our practitioners available for low-cost treatments
Treatments are available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday depending on the availability of the therapists. Please contact us to make an appointment or for any further information. |

Osteopathy is an established system of diagnosis and treatment that recognises the role of the musculo-skeletal system in the healthy functioning of the body. If the structure of a joint is disrupted in any way, this will affect the normal mechanics of the joint resulting in dysfunction, which patients usually feel as pain, stiffness or discomfort. Osteopaths work with their hands using a wide range of treatment techniques, such as soft tissue and neuro-muscular massage, joint mobilising techniques and corrective manipulations designed to improve the mobility and range of movement of a joint.
Osteopathy is suitable for people of all ages, and treats conditions ranging from the most acute to chronic, long-standing problems. Some of the conditions suitable for osteopathic treatment include; arthritis, headaches, repetitive strain injuries, frozen shoulder, jaw pain, foot & knee pain and many more.
Dave graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine and has added further qualifications in Cranial Osteopathy and acupuncture. |
